My main interest is in pens that are generally regarded as difficult to restore, and pens that require the manufacture of reproduction parts.
Restored pens are offered for sale. Many letters of appreciation have been received (see ‘Testimonials’).
I plan to add technical articles (written for the Journal of the Writing Equipment Society) to those already existing in the technical section of this site, and to continue the development of new repair tools that will make easier some of the more daunting repair tasks.
The BBC1 ‘Repair Shop’ Series 4 Episode 20 and One Hour Episode 16 show my happy day with a sentimentally valued Wyvern pen.

This is No 1 of my new Special Edition pens (the Dunnfordwater). Only 7 were produced (handmade by me) using the Waterman 100 nib. Their price was £580.
